Applying for a Dubai visa is an easy online process that can be done in 3 simple steps. Self-sponsored Dubai visas, such as the 5-year Dubai tourist visa, Dubai golden visas, and Dubai residency permits, may require the applicant to provide additional requirements to the 4 standard Dubai visa requirements listed below. Certain nationalities may also be required to furnish additional information.

Dubai visa requirements
Application
To apply for a Dubai visa, applicant must fill out an online UAE visa application form on DubaiVisas.com, providing personal and intended trip information.
Passport copy
Applicant must hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of visa application submission. Passports should be machine readable, as no hand written passports will be accepted at UAE ports of entry. In addition, applicant should supply 1 color copy of their passport biometric page.
Personal photo
Applicant should take a recent color photograph, against a white background, which follows the standard dimensions and other passport photo guidelines, such as high-quality imaging, frontal angle, natural facial expressions, etc.
Ticket
Applicant must have a confirmed return or onward airline booking or travel ticket that proves their departure from Dubai at the end of their stay.

Requirements for 5-year Dubai visa
Bank statement
A bank statement for the last 6 months proving a minimum balance of $4,000 US or its equivalent in another currency.
Health insurance
Proof that applicant holds valid medical insurance in Dubai during their entire stay(s) in Dubai.
Accommodation
Proof that applicant holds residence in Dubai, in the form of a hotel booking, lease agreement, or an invitation letter from family/friends living in Dubai.

Additional requirements for certain nationalities

Dubai entry requirements
If you are not a GCC national or a foreign national eligible to obtain a visa-on-arrival in Dubai, you must provide a valid Dubai e-visa to enter Dubai. GCC nationals need only show their national ID or passport upon arrival to Dubai.
Dubai COVID-19 measures require vaccinated travelers to provide a vaccination certificate, with a QR code, but they are not required to furnish a negative RT-PCR test. However, unvaccinated travelers are required to provide a negative result RT-PCR test, with a QR code, taken within the last 48 hours of arrival to Dubai, or a certificate of recovery that has been issued at least 30 days before departure from applicant’s point of origin.
Foreign nationals from Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Nigeria, and Pakistan must provide health certificates only issued from one of the Dubai designated labs. Transit travelers through Dubai are not required to present COVID-19 health certification, unless required by the final destination country in their itinerary. Masks are not currently required to be worn in public places.

How long can I stay in Dubai without a visa?
All Dubai visas can be extended twice, 30 days each time, without the need to leave and re-enter Dubai. Visitors who stay in Dubai without a valid visa renewal shall pay a daily fine of AED 100, starting 10 days after their Dubai visa expiry date. GCC residents, those traveling with them, special entry and 96-hour special missions permit holders are not eligible to renew their Dubai visas.
What are the reasons for a Dubai visa rejection?
Many reasons can be factored into a Dubai visa rejection, such as wrong or incomplete information, invalid passports, unmet requirements, or other reasons that could red flag your application. Some issues, such as input of wrong information or missing requirements can be easily rectified, and you will be allowed to reapply. There may be instances when you could be required to furnish additional requirements for a re-application, or a refusal to reapply altogether.
