Please note that the self-sponsored 5-year tourist visa bears additional requirements than the 4 standard requirements listed above, such as proof of a $4000 bank balance. The 30-day and 60-day tourist visas can be extended twice, 30 days each extension. The 5-year visa can be extended for an additional 90 days.
Dubai tourist visa extension can be applied for from within Dubai, without having to leave the country.
Please note that staying in Dubai without a valid visa or an approved visa extension will subject you to a fine of AED 200 for the first day and AED 100 per day for each consecutive day. Overstay days are calculated starting 10 days after your visa expires.
